We were.visiting Hiawassee with our dog and happened to try this out for breakfast. We loved it and found out you can have your dog join you on the patio so we went back for dinner that night and breakfast the next morning! The food was delicious and Gydon, Denise and Janis were wonderful. Also got to meet the chef, Jay, and the General Manager Kristin. This is under new management (Mariott) and they will be completely renovating this winter. We can't wait to go back!!
My wife and I have had the privilege of dinning in some of the top restaurants in the world, and I must say that to our surprise our experience of food and service was second to none. There was a gentle flow to the dinner experience that paired so well with the fine fare we were served. The chef allows the food to speak for itself, and he does not hide it behind an overabundance of spices. What a wonderful dinning experience we had. Thank you to our fine server Michelle, and the entire staff at The Oaks at The Ridges. Well done! :-)
Nice atmosphere, great food, excellent service. Valentines day - 6:30 reservation and we had to wait about 20 min, but we got drinks at bar and watched people. The staff was so professional in handling the crowd. One bartender and she was extremely busy, but took care of everyone and customers were happy. Waitresses were very busy running around, but they managed to be very pleasant and professional. We saw some of the waitresses actually helping other waitresses. We had great service and the food was very good. I had portobello tower and my husband had prime rib. We felt the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food.
I was in a group of 10 Sunday, ordered the 3 egg omelet, it must have been make with pigeon eggs, was very dry overcooked. I did not have eating utinsels or napkin, meal was cold and everyone else finished before I finally received utinsels which were thrown on table. This was my only and last.visit.
