Our first adventure was a short (and beautiful walk) over to the farm where Wallace gave us a tour and let us meet all the animals (cows, goats, mini horses, chickens, bunnies, and a friendly little pig named Henry!)

Enota found its way into my heart, where it will stay, always.

So in the end, I am obsessed! We left yesterday, and I am already planning another trip.

On certain weekends it foes get busy in the park. The overflowing streams that run throughout the park drown out much of the noise. I would recommend you find a site that works for you. We have.

What I can leave you with is this; If/when you visit Enota, you wont want to leave. (Ask the AT hikers who stopped in!)

Out of all the parks we've stayed out Enota is truly special.

This is a magical retreat tucked away on absolutely gorgeous mountain land, where the Cherokee spirit is present and abundant!

And Susan, you may have had a bad experience, but so many others have had great ones.

Listen, Enota is a labor of love by the owner. In fact we really feel like we are visiting a friends place when we return. The kids are truly able to roam free and do as they please on the property. Enota is not commercialized or over run with too many rules or policing.

In our experience it is a place of mutual respect and care. Our children very much feel like they are apart of enota. They talk about it with such love and respect.

I would not consider any of the staff anything but very helpful and accommodating. We have not had any problems.

We stayed for 4 days, and I can certainly say that 4 days is certainly not long enough! I was captivated by this place from the moment we arrived. I had made campsite reservations about 3 months in advance and the anticipation was well worth it! We were greeted by Deb up front. She was so kind and informative. In fact, all the staff we met were so incredibly loving and kind!

We then walked the trails to the waterfalls they have on the property...and it was AMAZING!

The worst time my family and I have ever had had camping. The management stuck us in the middle of a Heritage Girls retreat instead of offering us another site away from them. This group is some of the rudest individuals we have ever came across. The sites are not worth the amount of money they charge for them. Especially for claiming to be non-profit. The government may want to check into that because I’m pretty sure it is only to get the tax breaks. You can only buy their campfire wood which is just a bundle of 2x4s. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT REST AND RELAXATION. IF I COULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS I WOULD.

I love it here. The waterfalls are beautiful and the best part is that you get no cell phone reception.

Our family has visited several times in summer and fall and love this place...it's nice for campers who like to have amenities and activities close by. There really is something for everyone and the stream is so relaxing. We enjoyed the farm tour and the kids loved the baby bunnies! Bonfire on Saturdays is good for meeting other campers too :) always enjoy our stay here.

In our experience the management is more than willing to give guests the site of their choice if its available. If you didn't get what you want its possible you didn't ask for it or you didn't reserve early enough.

I dont usually review anything online, but I thought it necessary to counter Susan's review. I do read reviews and I'm sure there is always something true in a particular review. But its quite possible to weave some facts together and give an exaggerated impression.

First' I'd like to reply to the last reviewer Susan. We have been to Enota about 5 times. We've stayed in cabins and tent camped. We love Enota. The kids truly think of this place as their own.

I honestly could go on forever, but there is simply too much to tell!

We set up our home away from home at campsite #59 (we had a waterfall in our backyard!)
