Stayed here a week in late Sept and fell in love with the place; the fresh air, a lively stream by our site, plenty of sunshine - our new favorite place. Very clean, friendly & knowledgeable staff, well maintained & excellent water pressure. An excellent, well stocked camp store that is easy on the wallet. Very friendly to friendly dogs.
This privately owned place is well maintained and run like a fine oiled machine. No problems whatsoever! The staff is kind. The amenities are wonderful. We stayed in the Green River Cabin for a long weekend and the eclipse; it was blissful! We already booked next year for a week! Absolutely telling everyone we know about how awesome it is here!! Keep up the great service and stunning property!
Great place to stay, we will come back for sure. Clean, quiet and we'll managed. Spots are level.
The grounds are well kept and nice. If we had brought our own camper I would have given them a higher rating because it is a very nice place. BUT, we rented one of their cabins. It's cute, but it wasn't very clean. Ants got into our food. And for $100 a night, to not be clean, no linens are provided, and all of these notes posted of possible extra fees they would charge, it was very disappointing. If we were to go back, it would be after we invest in a camper of our own.
**Tent Camper's Review** My family and I just returned from camping here over the Labor Day weekend, 2017. This is a nice campground, and it is very apparent that the owners care about the property and its upkeep. The park is staffed by capable maintenance people and the facilities are ample and cleaned at least twice a day as far as we could tell. There are plenty of things to do onsite for adults and kids. On holidays the kids can make many friends and adventures while staying safely within the campground. The remaining times of year the park appears quiet and serene, a nice getaway. The park is predominantly RV, with the few tent sites as a possible afterthought. That being said, the tent sites are spacious, in the area near the playground. It's also a great group tenting area if you bring friends or are just social. Everyone we met was nice. The town is nearby so there are many food/supply options. The camp store is well outfitted and maintained. There are plenty of rules as noted in other reviews, but they appeared to be structured so that everyone had a nice stay and we didn't have any issues with the rules. Only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is our one Con for the park: The good tent sites are the farthest away from the bath houses and that is really unfortunate, since the tenters are the ones who most need these facilities. It's a brisk walk at 3am or when nature calls. Showers involve packing the group up and driving to the nearest bath house. If the owners would shift a cabin around or expand around the main office building to make space for another bath house near the group tenting area, that would make a world of difference. Great spot all in all, kids enjoyed, will return.
