Parking was free but the summer fair left a lot to be desired in terms of the arts & crafts. My son enjoyed the dog demonstration, and there were a couple good artisans, but by and large the $12 entry fee makes it something we're not interested in going back to.

We felt that this was a total wast of our time & money.

We have been coming for many many years to fair on weekends for Gospel Concerts on Sunday. Was VERY disappointed this year. The Primitives were main reason we keep coming back. We Always book 2 nights next door. Please put them back on schedule or a lot of people we know will not be coming in 2018. Book your local groups at other times. Thanks.

I had first been here 37 years ago and then again about 27 years ago. It's a very interesting place that has a mix of arts and crafts and history. The history part is a sort of living example of how the pioneers did things when they were settling in Appalachia. Examples include a saw mill (run by an old pickup truck engine), grain grinding, quilt making, iron smith, shingle making and an old school house. In July 2017 it cost $12 at the gate to get in. There are lots of trees so everything is well shaded and there's a nice breeze coming off of Lake Chatuge. The day we went was sunny and pleasant.

Ga. Mt. Fair. July 21 2017. Free parking. Then $12.00 each to get in. Very few craft booths worth looking into. Not many craft booths on top of that. I feel totally sorry for the young family with kids that want to ride the kiddy rides. It worked out to $5.00 each to ride the small Ferris wheel. Save you money and time for something better. Go to Bell Mountain for free, buy the kids a can of spray paint and let them paint their own rock.

beautiful venue for fall festival set in the woods with walking trails and so much to see (and buy) great concert venue with ga mountain air coming in thru the windows the old village is very interesting you get a full view of gorgeous lake charge which also has campsites right on campsites right on the lake. so much natural beauty especially in the cool fall weather. will be going back for Christmas in lights this year. there is nothing not to love. I highly recommend it if you're a nature lover !
